We founded KC Swimmers in 2016 with one goal in mind: To give all children the opportunity to learn the life-saving survival skill of swimming

We take children from the age of 3 years old and up.

In 2021 we expanded to include open water swimming as part of our offering.
THE FULL STORY
Reading and Wokingham Based KC Swimmers launched with the aim to give a personalised service to all of its clients was launched in 2016 by passionate swimmers Kirsty and Catrin.
​
After starting their respective families and to create a work-life balance Kirsty and Catrin independently trained to become swimming teachers. Following a period of working for local Swim schools, they took the decision to launch on their own as KC Swimmers which has gone from strength to strength ever since. They have delivered swimming lessons to 100’s children between 3 and 16 years old from the Reading and Workingham. Many of our swimmers have moved from complete beginners to competent swimmers, triathletes or club swimmers.

Between them, Kirsty and Catrin, have over 30 years of swimming teaching experience. We believe that everyone should learn to swim as a core life skill.
